Nikon has now introduced its latest mirrorless camera in the Z series – the small Z8, which has a lightweight camera body equipped with several features from Nikon’s popular flagship model Z9.
Z8 can also be seen as a successor to D850. The camera body is 30 percent smaller than Z9 and 15 percent smaller than D850, weighing only about 910 g.
The new camera offers 45.7 megapixels in still image resolution and up to 8.3K (60p) video resolution. It has the same stacked CMOS sensor and EXPEED 7 processor as Z9. If you don’t really need 8K, it can also handle 4K at 120p with 12-bit RAW directly in the camera.
