A few months ago, Sony released its virtual reality headset, PlayStation VR2 (PSVR2). It didn’t generate much buzz, except perhaps in the first two weeks, as people seem to be not overly interested in virtual reality despite the headset being really good.
Sony has now revealed some official figures, stating that they have sold approximately 600,000 units of the headset in the first six weeks. This is more than the sales during the same timeframe for its predecessor, PSVR. However, whether Sony is extremely satisfied remains to be seen, as they have yet to make more official statements regarding PSVR2.
