Collaborations between two distinct brands often tend to result in somewhat mixed outcomes. In my view, one should stick to what they do best. I remember quite well when Acer started churning out Ferrari-branded computers, and it felt like Ferrari had lost its touch. They still sell a record number of cars, but as soon as it comes to merchandise, it all feels rather subpar.
Now, another partnership with the car manufacturer is being introduced, and this time it’s the venerable Bang & Olufsen that has produced audio products with Ferrari logos. They claim that the collection is meant to honor Bang & Olufsen’s quality aluminum products and celebrate the shared passion for balance, power, and precision between the two brands.
The products in question are the home speaker Beosound 2 ($5,499), the headphones Beoplay H95 ($1,299), the earbuds Beoplay EX ($499), and the portable speaker Beosound Explore ($249).
The collection is available for purchase now, and you can read more about it here.
