Google appears to be introducing an updated interface for its camera app in conjunction with the upcoming Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phones.
As usual, the app will also be released for older models in the Pixel series. One of the most noticeable changes is that the app now has separate modes for photography and video recording, which can be switched between using two buttons at the bottom of the screen.
The other modes are accessed through a horizontal list, just like before. Google has also chosen to swap the position of the button that leads to the gallery and the button that switches between the rear and front cameras.
