Huawei has recently secured a patent for earbuds equipped with cameras on the sides. These cameras are intended to assist the user by capturing information about their environment beyond their direct field of vision.
For instance, they could alert the user to approaching objects, thereby improving safety on the road. Additionally, they could provide navigation guidance. The cameras would also enable gesture control, allowing you, for example, to raise or lower the volume by waving your hand.
It may take a while before a product with this solution reaches the market, but could you imagine something similar?
