Steam writes in a blog post in its developer section that game developers can now specifically indicate if their games support Sony’s PlayStation controllers, such as the DualSense and/or DualShock 4.
In the future, Steam will list which controllers various games support, and it will also be possible to sort games based on this information. Currently, Steam only indicates if a game has full or partial controller support but does not specify the type of controller.
The most popular controller used for Steam games today is some form of Xbox controller, accounting for 69 percent of usage in Steam-supported controller games. The rest have used a mix of PlayStation controllers, Switch Pro controllers, and hundreds of other devices, according to Steam.
