On Tuesday, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will have a new season, which means new things to play with for people who play the game. The season offers news for DMZ, Warzone 2.0, and of course, the game’s multiplayer mode.
Personally, I prefer the game’s DMZ mode, so let’s start with that. The big thing here is that players have the ability to exchange goods for more useful things from the game’s purchase stations. Another new thing is workbenches that you will be able to find near the purchase stations. On these workbenches, you will be able to add various accessories to contraband weapons. Clearly practical and something that makes these weapons more useful. The season will also include new bosses, a new faction that offers new missions, and the ability to have pre-made loadouts so you don’t have to choose what you want to use every time. A video walkthrough of all the DMZ news can be found here.
The game’s multiplayer part will finally come with several new maps and new game modes. Another nice thing is that later in the season, they will release a Special Ops map and the third part of the raid.
Warzone 2.0 will get the Resurgence mode on the Al Mazrah map, which is fun for those of us who hate the Gulag. Speaking of Gulag, Al Mazrah will get a new Gulag map this season. Other fun things that will come during S03 are the Plunder game mode, new shields, and the ability to activate UAVs so you can see your enemies on the map. Warzone 2.0 will also get ranked matches, which will be challenging.
