As previously announced, David Tennant will be returning to Doctor Who for a few special episodes that will be aired as part of the BBC’s 60th anniversary celebration of the long-running series.
As his companion, he will once again have Donna Noble, portrayed by Catherine Tate.
There will be a total of three special episodes titled “The Star Beast,” “Wild Blue Yonder,” and “The Giggle.” A trailer for these episodes can be seen above. The episodes are expected to air in November.
