Here we have a new trailer for A Haunting in Venice, which is an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel Hallowe’en Party released in 1969.
The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh, who also stars as the detective Hercule Poirot. In the film, Poirot, after his retirement, has settled in Venice sometime after World War II. Reluctantly attending a seance, one of the guests is murdered, prompting Poirot to once again don his detective hat to try to solve the murder.
A Haunting in Venice is Branagh’s third Agatha Christie film. In 2017, he made Murder on the Orient Express, and last year, Death on the Nile was released.
A Haunting in Venice is scheduled to be released on September 15th.
