Apple is now selling the USB-C case for the AirPods Pro separately, which means users no longer need to buy entirely new headphones to get a USB-C case. It might be worth buying a USB-C case if you want to completely avoid using Lightning cables, or if you need to replace a lost case.
The case is only compatible with the second-generation AirPods Pro, so if you have the second-generation AirPods Pro with Lightning, you can switch your current case for this one.
