Musk made a new statement on Twitter where he hinted that he might sue Microsoft for some reason. Musk’s tweet threatening to sue Microsoft came in response to a tweet about Microsoft’s advertising platform no longer supporting Twitter from next week.

Microsoft made this decision because Twitter wants to be paid to access the platform via so-called APIs (application programming interfaces), writes The Verge. Musk seems to have been upset about this and wrote in his tweet that Microsoft trained something using data from Twitter and that it was “Lawsuit time.”

It is known that OpenAI, a company that Microsoft has a close partnership with, has used data from Twitter to train its AI ChatGPT. However, it is unclear whether Microsoft itself has used data from Twitter to train its own developed AIs. Whether Musk actually has any real plans to sue Microsoft is difficult to determine, as is often the case with Musk.
