The Japanese gaming and toy company, Bandai, has unveiled a new version of the classic Tamagotchis that can connect to the “Tamaverse,” a virtual world referred to as “the metaverse of the Tamagotchi world” by Bandai.
The idea behind Tamagotchi Uni is for users to play with their digital pets, just like with the original Tamagotchi version, while also having the option to let their Tamagotchis visit virtual meeting places called Tama Arena, Tama Parties, Tama Fashion, and Tama Travel.
