The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll is soon returning to the big screen, but this time the rock singer will settle for a supporting role. Now it’s Priscilla Presley’s turn to take the spotlight as Sofia Coppola films a biopic about her life story.
Unlike last year’s “Elvis,” the film “Priscilla” will present a more intimate love story about the stars’ relationship. What did their lives look like when the camera was turned off for Priscilla and the music stopped for Elvis? Their lives consisted of so much more than just writing themselves into popular culture history.
In the roles, we have Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla and “Euphoria” actor Jacob Elordi as Elvis. Below, you can watch the first trailer that takes us to the stars’ wedding.
“Priscilla” seems to have a slightly different tone than the previous Elvis film with Austin Butler in the role, so it is definitely worth checking out the movie for a more intimate portrait of their lives behind the spotlight.
