The Pokémon Company offers a small trailer for the next season of Pokémon. This will be the first season without Ash Ketchum, who has been the main character since the series was launched in 1997.
Instead, we will follow the characters Liko, Roy and Friede, but whether they measure up remains to be seen when this new series premieres in Japan on April 14. It is currently unclear when this Ash-less season will be aired in the western world, as Netflix now holds the rights and releases episodes in batches instead of weekly after they have aired in Japan.
