The film revolves around a woman on the run (Willa Fitzgerald) who forces the son (Garrett Hedlund) of Mel Gibson’s character to help her. The story appears to escalate into a violent pursuit with shootouts, hospital visits, and more, judging by the trailer. If you’re planning to watch the movie, you might as well skip the trailer, as it seems to reveal the entire film.
Desperation Road is set to premiere as a VoD film on October 6th. It will likely also become available on a streaming platform, although I haven’t found any information about that yet.
