It’s almost time for a new Hunger Games movie, the fifth in the series since the first film was released eleven years ago.
The upcoming film is titled The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and is based on the novel “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” released by Suzanne Collins in 2020. The film is a prequel to the first Hunger Games movie and is set 64 years before the events of The Hunger Games. The story revolves around a young Coriolanus Snow (played by Tom Blyth) and the events that lead to him becoming the ruthless dictator who rules over the post-apocalyptic nation of Panem later in life.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes hits theaters on November 17th.
