Here’s a trailer for the upcoming TV series Lessons in Chemistry, in which Brie Larson plays a scientist who gets fired when she becomes pregnant.
The series takes place in the 1950s, and when Elizabeth Zott (Larson) can no longer work in science, she gets a job as a host of a cooking show. There, she decides to teach the American TV audience how to mix things other than cookie dough and other food.
Lessons in Chemistry is based on author Bonnie Garmus’ debut novel of the same name, which was released last year. The TV series Lessons in Chemistry will premiere on Apple TV+ this fall.
