Netflix is creating a TV series based on the novel trilogy The Three-Body Problem by Chinese author Liu Cixin.
Now, the series has received an official teaser that you can check out here. The series revolves around humanity’s contact with an extraterrestrial civilization. This alien civilization’s planet is located in a star system with three suns, and the unpredictable gravitational fields make their Earth-like planet inhospitable.
When they learn that our planet is stable for habitation, they plan to invade it. To prevent this, scientists attempt to solve the unsolvable three-body problem and uncover a conspiracy that spans light-years.
The series is created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, known for their work on Game of Thrones. The Three-Body Problem is set to be released in early next year.
