Travel service Expedia has integrated OpenAI’s chatbot ChatGPT into the iOS version of its app, allowing Expedia users to chat with the bot about their upcoming vacation plans.
The idea is for ChatGPT to provide Expedia users with advice and tips on potential vacation destinations they plan to visit. This could include recommendations for accommodations, attractions, and other things that may be interesting to know about the destinations.
Expedia previously created a plugin for ChatGPT that can be used to receive travel tips without installing the Expedia app. ChatGPT in Expedia’s app is currently only available in a beta version for those using Expedia’s English-language iOS app.
