Soon, NASA and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) will reveal which astronauts will be part of the Artemis 2 mission to the moon.

Artemis 2 is scheduled to leave Earth in November 2024 at the earliest and will orbit the moon before returning to Earth. NASA currently has a pool of around 40 astronauts who could be selected for the mission, while CSA has four. Artemis 2 will be the first manned mission to the moon since NASA’s Apollo program stopped flying there over 50 years ago.

NASA and CSA will today present the four astronauts who will be part of the Artemis 2 mission. The names will be revealed in a live broadcast that starts at 5:00 PM, which you can check out above. The infographic below shows how the Artemis 2 mission will be carried out.
