Whether the infamous showdown between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg will actually happen remains uncertain. Zuckerberg seems to have been keen on the idea ever since Musk mentioned earlier this summer that he could consider fighting Zuckerberg.
The other day, Zuckerberg suggested August 26th as a potential date for the possible match. However, Musk doesn’t appear to be as enthusiastic anymore and mentioned on X, formerly known as Twitter, yesterday that he needs to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) before stepping into the ring with Zuckerberg. According to Musk’s post, he may also require surgery before he is ready for the fight.
The exact health issues that Musk may have are unclear, but according to his post, he will undergo an MRI today. Following Musk’s announcement about the potential need for surgery, Tesla, the company where Elon Musk serves as CEO, saw its stock drop by over 2 percent.
