Oppo is the latest mobile manufacturer to join the trend of using giant “1-inch” sensors. The sensor itself is Sony’s 50-megapixel 1-inch IMX989 sensor. But it’s not just that, the telephoto and ultra-wide-angle cameras on the phone also use 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensors.
These are supposed to be “larger than any ultra-wide-angle camera” on a phone so far. The telephoto sensor is also the same size as the one Samsung uses for the main camera on its latest Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus phones.
In addition, the Oppo Find X6 Pro features fast charging of up to 100W, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 5000mAh battery, and a 1.82-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate that can reach up to 2500 nits maximum brightness. Currently, the phone is only launched in China, it remains to be seen if there will be a global launch.
