OnePlus has now officially, as expected, unveiled its new phone, the OnePlus 12, in China. The manufacturer will then organize a global launch at the beginning of next year. It is only then that we will find out what the price might be, but for now, we have at least gotten a glimpse of the phone’s specifications. The phone features Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to a whole 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
The screen is 6.82 inches large and has a resolution of 3168×1440 pixels, which gives a pixel density of 510 PPI, and the brightness goes up to a whole 4,500 nits. Inside is a 5400 mAh battery, and it offers fast charging up to 100 W or wireless charging with 50 W.
The main camera on the back uses Sony’s 50 MP LYT-808 sensor with a sensor size of 1/1.4 and an aperture of f/1.6. The telephoto lens (f/2.6), for the first time in a OnePlus, has a periscope zoom. It has a sensor with a 64 MP resolution and offers an optical zoom of 3x or up to 6x hybrid zoom. The ultra-wide angle offers 48 MP and the selfie camera has a resolution of 32 MP.
