Several years ago, Spotify acquired the podcasting tool Anchor, and since then, they have integrated it more and more with Spotify. But now, it’s all over, and Spotify has decided to shut down Anchor and introduce the new service called Spotify for Podcasters.
The new service will have features like the ability to upload and publish episodes, interactive Q&As and polls, “advanced” statistics, and listeners will be able to preview podcasts on Spotify’s new homepage. Podcasters can also add different chapters in an episode for easier navigation.
