Just a few weeks ago, Ubisoft announced that they would be attending this year’s E3 expo, despite most other major publishers choosing to skip the gaming convention this year.
Today, things have changed as Ubisoft has decided not to attend the expo anymore. They will still be hosting their livestream presentation on June 12th, but it will not be connected to E3 and they will not be physically present at the convention.
While we initially intended to have an official E3 presence, we’ve made the subsequent decision to move in a different direction, and will be holding a Ubisoft Forward Live event on 12th June in Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing more details with our players very soon.

It remains to be seen if there will be any E3 expo this year, but currently, it looks very grim for what was once a week-long Christmas for gaming fans.
