Razer has released a new version of its Hammerhead Pro headphones specifically targeting those who want to use in-ear headphones for gaming on the computer.

The new version is called Hammerhead Pro Hyperspeed and comes with a USB-C dongle that wirelessly transmits audio on the 2.4GHz band between the computer and the headphones. This is said to reduce latency from 60ms to 40ms compared to connecting the headphones to the computer via Bluetooth. However, the headphones also support Bluetooth if, for example, one wants to use them with a phone and answer calls while gaming on the computer.

Hammerhead Pro Hyperspeed features active noise cancellation (ANC). The battery life is 3.5 hours plus 11 to 14.5 hours with the accompanying case when ANC is enabled, and up to 6.5 hours plus 24 hours with the case when ANC is disabled. In addition to the included USB-C dongle, the headphones also come with a USB-A to USB-C adapter.

Hammerhead Pro Hyperspeed is now available for approximately 230 euros.
