CRKD is a new gaming accessory company that unveiled its first product, “Nitro Deck,” yesterday. It is an accessory for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch OLED, designed to make handheld gaming more convenient.
Nitro Deck aims to replace the original Joy-Con controllers of the Switch. With Nitro Deck, users can remap buttons, and the built-in joysticks are also designed to eliminate the drifting issues that have become somewhat embarrassing for Nintendo’s Joy-Cons.
The base version of Nitro Deck will cost $60, but there are variants available for approximately $90 that include a carrying case and more vibrant colors. Pre-orders are now open, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in September.
