The upcoming mobile game allows you to play as a new student at Hogwarts, where you collect game cards and challenge other players.
Earlier this spring, the popular game “Hogwarts Legacy” was released, set in the wizarding world from the Harry Potter books by British author J.K. Rowling.
In about a week, a new game based on the magical books and movies will be released, called “Harry Potter: Magic Awakened”, available for mobile devices (iOS and Android).
The game is developed by the Chinese studio NetEase Games and has previously been released in China and other countries, but it will launch worldwide on June 27th.
“Harry Potter: Magic Awakened” is a free mobile game that revolves around collecting and playing with cards, where you play as a self-designed new student at Hogwarts. It also includes various elements such as riding brooms and dueling with other students.
The trailer also showcases familiar faces like Hagrid and Professor McGonagall.
“Hogwarts Legacy” has sold over 15 million copies since its release. Whether “Magic Awakened” will be equally successful remains to be seen.
In addition to that, the game “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” is also on the way, as the title suggests, it revolves around participating in the exhilarating sport from the books and movies.
