One of Microsoft’s bigger game releases this year is Redfall from Arkane Studios. The game is an FPS set in an open world where it’s possible to play alone or with others.
The game puts a lot of focus on the story, but of course there are also opportunities to do missions that extend beyond the main story. The developers themselves have described it more like Far Cry than Left 4 Dead.
Various gaming media outlets have now been able to get their hands on the game and share their opinions in the clip above and below. Most seem to agree that the game world itself is pretty boring and that the gameplay mechanics are relatively monotonous throughout the entire game.
