Bohemia Interactive is developing the sequel to the zombie game, Dayz 2, as revealed in documents submitted to the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Microsoft in their attempt to acquire Activision Blizzard. This has been reported by various sources, including MP1st.
The existence of Dayz 2 being developed by Bohemia was not previously known. However, both the full-scale military simulator Arma 4 and Arma Reforger (a standalone Cold War game released in early access in 2022) have been announced.
Dayz started as a mod for Arma 2 but later became a standalone game. Both titles achieved great success.
Microsoft’s battle to complete the massive deal has led to a wealth of secret information from the gaming industry being revealed. Currently, they are facing the FTC in court, and more news is expected to emerge.
