Nintendo has just announced that they have now added a few GameBoy Advance games for all the subscribers to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack. The library of games for the GameBoy is pretty small at the moment but fans and gamers should be ready for more additions in the future.
Top 5 Added GameBoy Advance Games
Out of all the new games that have been added now, which ones are the best? Below is a top 5 list of the best GBA (GameBoy Advance) games that have been added so far. Not everyone will agree with this list as everyone has a different opinion on certain things. So, without further adieu here are the top five GameBoy Advance games that have just been added to Nintendo Switch Online.
5. Kuru Kuru Kururin
Although most of the GameBoy Advance games that have been added to the Nintendo Switch Online have been pretty easy, that is one thing that you won’t have a problem with in Kuru Kuru Kururin. Although trying to complete every level in this game might not be too difficult, doing so without making a mistake will be very hard, which makes this game extremely enjoyable when you are navigating through this game’s constantly rotating stick around challenging and colourful courses.
Just because completing the levels without any faults is very challenging, doesn’t mean that they will be boring, in fact all of these courses will offer you quite a lot of enjoyment as there is plenty of environmental variety and some amazing music. This game has been a very popular game for the GBA’s because it is a little different from other games and it’s a perfect portable game for gamers out there.
4. WarioWare, Inc. : Mega Microgames$!
This game is definitely not known for the challenging level of the microgames that WarioWare, Inc. : Mega Microgames$! offers. The microgames are pretty simple but people become addicted to them and love them because they are fast paced and make for a quick succession experience.
If you’ve completed the single-player mode that this game has to offer then there isn’t a lot more that you are able to do and this game isn’t particularly known for how long it takes to complete it. However, even though this game might not be that long it is still guaranteed to keep you entertained with its magical and creative moments and to top it all off you’ll have a lot of Nintendo nostalgia playing this game.
3. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
The Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga game was very known for how long its main adventure was, back in 2003. Even though this Mario adventure was AlphaDream’s third Mario debut adventure, they really did an amazing job at keeping gamers hooked straight away with the battle systems and two-player brother gameplay in this game. This game was easily able to keep you entertained thanks to two things: the “voice acting” which had a great sense of humour and the many side quests available as well as all the minigames that you are able to replay to try and beat your latest high score.
2. Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
Even though some people may have gotten confused by the Mario series’s confusing naming technique it all becomes worth it as soon as you jump into this game. If you were one of the gamers that had access to the e-Reader levels, then Super Mario Advance 4 had a lot of really cool new levels for you to enjoy and play through, which made this game one that you would have to add to your collection if you were a Super Mario fan.
However, if you are someone that didn’t have access to these extra levels then it did sadly feel like you were playing a version of Super Mario Bros 3 from the Super Mario All Stars, on a handheld console. It doesn’t matter whether or not you prefer the look of the NES to the updated SNES version, the Super Mario Bros. 3 game will be an amazing game as either one of these forms.
1. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
This Legend of Zelda game is one that has been made to carry on the new feature where they’ve given Link a talking piece of equipment, which will be with him throughout the quests you’ll embark on. In this Legend of Zelda game we have the addition of the Minish Cap, which is a hat that goes by the name Ezlo and gives Link the ability to be able to shrink in size in order to find the Kinstone fragments and as a result save the Minish people.
Even though this addition to the Zelda franchise didn’t really add a lot of new aspects, compared to some of the previous Zelda games, this is still a great traditional Zelda adventure that both looks and sounds amazing. Some of the new things that we did see get added to this game included a few items: the Mole Mitts, Guts Jar and Cane of Pacci, the ability to learn new sword techniques as Link progressed through this game, and lastly you get the new found ability to now fuse elements into your sword. So overall this game is really a great overall mini adventure game.
