People absolutely love Baldur’s Gate 3, that’s for sure. Upon its release on PC last week, it reached a peak of 472,000 concurrent players, but many clearly waited until the weekend to embark on their adventures. On Sunday, it gathered a peak of 814,666 players, according to Steamdb.
This places the game at the 9th position on Steam’s list of games with the highest number of concurrent players of all time. It has surpassed games like Apex Legends, Valheim, and Terraria, while Hogwarts Legacy still holds the lead with 879,308 players.
Overall, the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 seems to have gone smoothly, although some players reported issues with saving or loading their games. However, this has reportedly been resolved with a patch released by Larian.
