Fans of the TV series Warrior Nun seem to have reason to rejoice as a film trilogy about the warrior nun appears to be in progress.
Warrior Nun was a TV series that aired for two seasons on Netflix before being cancelled at the end of last year. This upset some fans of the series, who launched a campaign to save it.
The campaign appears to be one of the reasons the series is now being revived in the form of movies. According to the series producer Dean English, as you can hear in the clip below, at least three films based on the warrior nun’s adventures will be made.
It’s also mentioned that this could be the beginning of an entire film universe based on Warrior Nun. The TV series Warrior Nun is based on the American comic book “Warrior Nun Areala” by Ben Dunn from 1993.
