Production company Studiocanal has now confirmed that the third Paddington movie, “Paddington in Peru”, will start production on July 24th.
This time the film will be directed by Dougal Wilson, who has previously made music videos and commercials for Apple, Ikea, and BBC, among others.
Wilson said this about his new job last year:
– As a huge fan of the first two films, I am very excited (if not a little intimidated) to be continuing the story of Paddington. It’s a massive responsibility, but all my efforts will be focussed on making a third film that honours the love so many people have for this very special bear.
The last time we saw Paddington was in a sketch with Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, which can be seen above.
