In a new leak on Twitter from h0x0d, we can see how some Microsoft employees are experimenting with a Windows interface specifically designed for handheld devices like the Steam Deck.
The concept, which can be seen in the pictures in the article and in the tweet, was created during a hackathon project within Microsoft from September, where employees present ideas or projects that sometimes end up with the company delivering the product in its finished form. The concept interface is adapted for smaller touch screens and has, among other things, a floating toolbar.
When, or even if, we will see such a feature officially from Microsoft remains to be seen.
