At its annual Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple showcased a range of new tools coming to iOS 17, which will make calling and messaging more personal and tailored, as reported by CNN.

Custom Image For instance, iPhone users will be able to create a customized image that appears when they call someone or receive a call.

Simultaneously, a new feature called Live Voicemail will transcribe a caller’s message in real-time, allowing users to decide whether to ignore or accept the call.

Additionally, FaceTime will support the ability to leave video messages when someone is unavailable for a chat.

Other changes accompanying iOS 17 include more precise autocorrection, improved dictation in iMessage, and what’s described as “a more responsive Siri.”
