Everything indicates that Apple will replace Lightning with USB-C in this year’s iPhone 15 models, and now it seems that the included cable will also be upgraded to color-matched braided fabric cables.
In the image above, we see the cables rumored to come with the iPhone 15, but the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are also expected to come with matching cables, according to Macrumors.
Apple has gradually started using braided cables for most of its devices, and all MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with MagSafe 3 come with a color-matched braided cable. Therefore, it’s not entirely unlikely that they will do the same for the iPhone.
However, the cables in the image appear slightly longer than the standard 1-meter cable that Apple typically includes with the iPhone, so it remains to be seen if these cables might actually be intended for a different product.
