News agency Bloomberg has been in contact with sources who claim that Apple is developing an AI-based app focused on fitness and health. The app is said to be called “Quartz” for now and intended to be used with the Apple Watch.
According to Bloomberg’s sources, Quartz will collect data from the user’s Apple Watch and, based on that data, suggest various exercise, nutrition, and sleep programs. The service is said to require a subscription and could be launched in 2024.
Apple has not commented on the rumors of a potential AI-based health and fitness app. If Apple is indeed working on such an app, it’s not entirely impossible that they may discuss it during this year’s WWDC, which kicks off on June 5.
