Despite neither iOS 15 nor macOS 12 being the latest from Apple anymore, both operating systems continue to receive new updates with bug fixes.

Apple releases iOS 15.7.5 and macOS 12.6.5

On Friday, Apple released new versions of iOS 16.4.1 and macOS Ventura 13.3.1 that addressed vulnerabilities that were actively being exploited, and these software updates fix the same issues on older devices. The two different vulnerabilities were found in IOSurfaceAccelerator and WebKit. Google’s Threat Analysis Group and Amnesty International’s Security Lab are the ones who discovered and reported both issues to Apple.

Apple has also released macOS Big Sur 11.7.6, which also addresses the security holes.
