Google has showcased Project Starline a few times now, but at this year’s Google I/O, they presented the project in a slightly more advanced version.
It’s about video calls where it feels like the person you’re talking to is sitting in the same room. Marques has had the opportunity to test it and has managed to create a demo that shows how it works.
Of course, it will be quite some time before we can have this at home. Project Starline requires a lot of computing power, a bunch of cameras, proper lighting, and so on. But it’s cool!
