Xiaomi is now releasing its third foldable phone in the form of the flagship Mix Fold 3, which Xiaomi claims can be folded 500,000 times, surpassing Honor’s Magic V2 by 100,000 folds and exceeding Samsung and Google’s latest devices by 200,000 folds.
The hinge can be locked at angles between 45 to 135 degrees. However, the phone does not seem to offer any official water or dust protection. The inner screen is 8.03 inches in size and features LTPO technology, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a resolution of 2160×1916. On the outside, there’s a 21:9 aspect ratio screen of 6.54 inches with a resolution of 2520×1080 and 120 Hz.
Inside the Mix Fold 3, there’s a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with 16 GB of RAM, powered by a 4800 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 67 W and wireless charging up to 50 W.
On the back, you’ll find a quad-camera setup, including a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and two telephoto cameras with 3.2x and 5x optical zoom, both at 10 MP.
The Mix Fold 3 starts at 8999 yuan for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. If you prefer 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, it costs 10,999 yuan. So far, the device appears to be available only in China.
