Motorola has now introduced this year’s version of the Edge Neo family – the Edge Neo 40. It’s a mid-range phone that doesn’t seem to lack much compared to what we see in more expensive phones.
The screen is a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display with 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. Inside, it’s powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7030 with 8 or 12 GB of RAM, backed by a 5000 mAh battery. The phone supports fast charging at 68 W, and a charger capable of this is included in the package. Storage options range from 128 to 256 GB.
The phone also features Wi-Fi 6E and is IP68-rated. On the back, there are two cameras: a 50 MP main camera with OIS and a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The selfie camera has a resolution of 32 MP. It remains to be seen how well these cameras perform.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo starts at €399. The phone’s three colors – Black Beauty, Soothing Sea, and Caneel Bay – have been developed in collaboration with Pantone.
