Motorola is now expanding its Edge 40 series with the slightly cheaper Edge 40, which features a 6.55-inch curved OLED display, IP68 rating, 68W fast charging with Motorola’s Turbopower, and a 50-megapixel camera.
Inside, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chip, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is powered by a 4400mAh battery, which can be fast charged via USB-C at up to 68W with the included charger, and there is also support for wireless charging up to 15W.
On the back, we find a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. These are surrounded by a back panel that Motorola calls vegan leather, but it remains to be seen how it feels in the hand.
The Edge 40 is available in Eclipse Black, Lunar Blue, and Nebula Green.
