Foldable phones have been quite cool but a bit bulky. Now, Honor has released the Magic V2, which is an impressively thin and light phone on paper.

When folded, it is less than a centimeter thick, which is significantly slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy Fold4, which is between 14.2 and 15.8 mm thick. The Fold5 is rumored to be 13.4 mm thick. An iPhone 14 Pro measures 7.85 mm, so having a foldable device this thin is truly impressive.

Another remarkable factor is that it weighs only 231 grams. An iPhone 14 Pro Max weighs 240 grams, and a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra weighs 234 grams. Despite its lightweight design, it still accommodates a 5000 mAh battery, but unfortunately lacks wireless charging. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and offers 16 GB of RAM.

The screens measure 6.43 inches (2376×1060 pixels) and 7.92 inches (2344×2156 pixels). Both screens support the use of a stylus and offer a 120 Hz refresh rate.
