Asus has now launched its latest Android phone ROG Phone 7, a phone that, like its predecessor, is designed for gaming.
To handle the most demanding Android games, we find inside things like Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 together with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage. The screen is a Samsung-made 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 720 Hz.
It shouldn’t be a major problem to play with this phone outdoors as the brightness reaches up to 1500 nits. The phone can also be obtained with AeroActive Cooler 7, which, in addition to active cooling, also contributes with a built-in subwoofer. ROG Phone 7 also has support for Wi-Fi 7.
On the back of the phone, we find ROG Vision, which is a matrix color screen on the back of the phone that can display animations for various system events such as charging status, incoming calls, “X Mode activation,” and more. The battery has a capacity of 6000 mAh and is divided into two cells, which enables fast charging of up to 65 W.
