Ironwood Studios has released a new trailer for its upcoming car game Pacific Drive, where they also reveal the game’s release date.
In Pacific Drive, players will drive a station wagon through a post-apocalyptic landscape following what appears to be an alien invasion. Most of the game revolves around the car itself, and there will be many opportunities to modify it so that it can best handle the tasks that it and its driver face in the game. Ironwood Studios writes about the game:
Pacific Drive is a first-person driving survival game with your car as your only companion. Navigate a surreal reimagining of the Pacific Northwest, and face supernatural dangers as you venture into the Olympic Exclusion Zone.
Each excursion into the wilderness brings unique and strange challenges as you restore and upgrade your car from an abandoned garage that acts as your home base.
Pacific Drive is set to be released for Playstation and PC on February 22, 2024.
