This year marks 20 years since Linden Labs released its virtual world Second Life, and now the company is planning to release a mobile version of the service.
Second Life was hyped quite heavily during its first years on the market, but has had a rather dwindling existence for the past 15 years. The idea behind the mobile version of the service, as well as the interest around the so-called “metaverse,” seems to be to breathe new life into the service.
