Helldivers 2 looked incredibly promising in the gameplay walkthrough shown earlier this month. Unfortunately, it did not come with a specific release date, apart from a vague “2023”. However, Tom Henderson and Insider Gaming might have stumbled upon information hinting at its intended release date.
They claim to have obtained a document from Sony’s partner program, where content creators were informed that the game is set to be released in October without specifying an exact date. Additionally, the game recently appeared on the ESRB website with a 17+ age rating due to blood splatters, the ability to continue shooting dead enemies, and the option to kill human civilians during rescue missions.
The first game had a top-down perspective, but the sequel shifts to a third-person view. However, the focus still remains on collaborating with others to eliminate extraterrestrial creatures and robots.
