Sci-fi has always made for thrilling content in the video game world. However the cyberpunk subgenre has a futuristic, darker appeal to it. Developer Sad Cat Studios will play on that neon aesthetic with Replaced; an immersive action based game within an original dystopian sci-fi universe. Replaced gives the Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner aesthetic.
Replaced is set to release sometime in 2023 as a console exclusive to XBOX One, Xbox Series X|S, and beyond via PC.

You play as R.E.A.C.H. – an artificial intelligence trapped in a human body against its own will, striving to adjust to human life, in and around Phoenix-City. Where outlaws are rife in a society that has sustained lasting damage and taken a turn for the worse, following a catastrophic nuclear event. Everything is ruled by corruption and greed and the ones in power see humans and their organs as nothing more than currency. Journey the world, push your body’s limits in intense combat and learn what it’s like to be a living being.

The developers have warned players out there of this game’s mature content, such as combat scenes that feature violence and gore, dialogue and cutscenes containing strong language, includes references to alcohol, tobacco use, mature humour as well as mature references in music lyrics. So, just beware of this before you hop into this thrilling game.
