Blizzard announced yesterday that Diablo IV will have an open beta next month. If you have pre-ordered the game, you will have access to the beta held between March 17-19, while everyone else can try the beta between March 24-26.
The beta will include the game’s prologue, entire first act – the first zone called Fractured Peaks. The level cap will be 25, but everything you do in the beta will be reset when the game is released on June 6.
While you will be able to roam free and battle Lilith’s hordes of hell, Blizzard says that this is a beta version and you will likely encounter some things that do not work as they should and other performance issues.
The Diablo IV beta will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows.
There will also be a developer update livestream on February 28.
